Frequently Asked Questions

  1. QUESTION:
    Costume Ideas for twins?
Does anyone have a good idea for dressing boy / girl twins? They are five years old.

Previously they've been: Sylvester & Tweety, Buzz Lightyear & Jesse, & Tinkerbell, Piglet & Tigger

    • ANSWER:
      Raggedy Anne and Andy
      Red M&M and green M&M
      Salt and Pepper
      Kermit and Miss Piggy

  2. QUESTION:
Baby sitting 4 year old boy... ?
so tomorrow a 4 year old boy is coming over (along with his 2 year old sister). She is really easy, but I want games and such to keep him interested. He only gets an hour and a half for tv, but i'll have him for close to 8 hours tomorrow. He is obbessed with Buzz Lightyear and Toy Story. Today while baby sitting him, we dressed up in costumes and danced. I want some new ideas for things to try tomorrow :) He isn't always open to new things though. Any easy crafts, or things I could make in advance? Thanks <33

PS: we do live by a park, but its been raining hardcore lately, so that is not a possiblity. Indoor stuff :)

    • ANSWER:
Creativity is the key: If he enjoys Buzz Lightyear, let him dress up as such, and tell him that there is a "waskley wabbit" (what Elmer Fudd calls Bugs Bunny) loose in the house, and sneak around the house, and see if Buzz Lightyear can find him and save the house from being over run with "wabbits"-- doing this, and when he doesn't find the wabbit in one room say "I thought I just heard him in the livingroom- quick, Buzz- we gotta find him!" and then go there and tip-toe around to sneak up on the wabbit..

This game can be fun and exciting, use up a lot of their energy, and can use up at least an hour or two of the time. Also, if you have a Mr. Potato Head, hide the pieces around the house, and create a story about how the Toy Story Mr. Potato Head has been harmed, and you need to find the pieces to make him "whole" again.

Be creative, using the Toy Story theme as a way to keep him occupied, while at the same time making you the most fun babysitter he has ever had (because you focus on his interests).
