looking for a jeannie costume!?

hey everybody!!! ok so halloween is coming around and im look for a jeannie costume, (im 13 yrs old) and like all of them show ur belly and the pants u can just see through are there like any regular jeannie costumes!! ha ha but if nothing i was thinking of being jessie from toy story, or a gypsy....so any way thanks!!

andre1 answers:

Girls like wearing genie costumes since they’re often made with a lot of gauzy fabric and in pretty colors such as pale pink or mint green. Some genie costumes have longer tops or false flesh-colored panels across the stomach so that girls aren’t really exposing their midriffs. To complete the look, wear a pair of pointy shoes – or shoes with a little “puff” of fabric on them will do the trick. Secure hair into a high ponytail and tie with a scarf. Accessories can vary, but try big jewelry. Ideal makeup is false eyelashes and ruby or pink lipstick.

Jessie's halloween costume includes a cowboy or cowgirl jumpsuit. The actual shirt which matches the outfit is a full white shirt with yellow, red, and silver printed artwork around the collar and sleeves. Next there is a brown belt buckle with a bull imprint on the buckle that goes nicely with the shirt. The chaps in my opinion are very nicely designed with the Chic Fil A cow design and blue tint waist design. Lastly there is the infamous red hat. Some of the extras that can be bought together with the outfit are brown dingo boots or cowgirl boots with a 3 or 4 inch heel. The Lolita hairpiece is also another nice fashion accessory which can go with the Toy Story Jessie outfit for girls or females. It is a nice curly shoulder length wig that fits well with the red hat. Another accessory for women is mascara. There is a jet black professional glamour mascara that also goes with the women's costume.

Gypsy costume... Put on your skirt and your blouse. The blouse can either sit normally on your shoulders or you can push the neck down so that your shoulders are exposed. Wrap a shawl around your hips so that it drapes around your skirt in certain sections. You do not want to cover the whole of the skirt; just parts of it, such as one side of your hips.Add your vest and string the laces together at the front to cinch in your waist and bolster your bosoms. Style your hair. Wear your hair down, and curl the ends of it with a curling iron if you have naturally straight hair. If your hair is naturally curly or wavy, simply take a shower and let the hair dry on its own. Take your colorful silk scarf and wrap it around your head, exposing only the back of your flowing hair and a small section of hair near your forehead. You can add some curly tendrils to the sides of your head to keep some fringe. Gather your miniature bells and ribbon. The bells should have opening hoops where you can insert the ribbon. After you've laced the ribbon through all of the bells, simply tie the ribbon around your vest, knotting it at the back. You can use this technique with several different colored ribbons to create a more colorful look. Put on all of the jewelry you've gathered. This includes your gold-colored hoop earrings, your chunky bracelets and your long necklaces.Make yourself up by adding a good amount of liquid eyeliner around your eyelids, extending the line on the upper lid past the outer corners of the eyes. You can also add a dark red lipstick to the mouth and some rosy blush to your cheeks.Grab your tambourine and hit the town in your colorful gypsy costume. Hope I helped! !

andre1 answers:

It would be so much fun to be Cinderella's Ugly Step-Sister. Make yourself look flat-chested. Put on really huge shoes. Wear a gaudy old prom dress with petticoat and sing off-key. Then go ahead a flirt with any guy who reminds your of Prince Charming.

Maria asks…

Help with saved by the bell halloween costume please?

Two friends and me are dressing up as Kelly, Jessie and Lisa from saved by the bell. I am Lisa and I definitely need some ideas. I haven't watched the show in years! There's not a lot of pictures online of her characters clothing. She was the one really into fashion and the latest trends so I want to nail it! haha.
Some ideas of the trends back then.. pictures would be cool (Ive searched Lisa Turtle and there aren't many) so the pictures don't have to be of Lisa but clothing ideas instead.
Im super excited and I want my costume to be good and not have people wondering who the heck I am.
Show was on late 80s early 90s.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thaaaanks :)

Maria asks…

Help me choose a costume please?

On July 2nd and 3rd, there's going to be a pop culture convention in my area, called AnimeKon (www.animekonexpo.com) Some of my friends are dressing up (they're going as characters from movies/tv shows, Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland, and a wolf) I would love to dress up in a costume for the event! :D
I can't choose which one to do though! I want a costume that's easy to make, and not expensive. I've narrowed it down to:

1) My Chemical Romance Killjoy character - I would go as the female version of one of their characters
2) Jessie from Team Rocket (actually, the costume would be really easy to make for me, but I have no idea what to do about the hair :/ My hair is dark, so dye won't work, and wigs are very expensive!)
3) A edgy/rock fairy - wearing black and red, with boots, fishnet stockings, fake piercings, and wings, that I will make like this: http://www.efairies.com/pics_clothing_costume/2074_big.jpg
4) if anything, I can go as a Ravenclaw student.

Please tell me which one you think is best!

andre1 answers:

I think you should make a pros and cons list. And think about it this way. Which one do you want to wear the most? Because you can't really dress up in a costume everyday. P.S. I might go to comic con which is like what you are going to!

David asks…

Jessie
hey Candy:] did you read my post or just the name?? But thanks anyway

andre1 answers:

1. Plan the party and decide on whether you want to have a theme.

2. Invite all everyone to come in costume. Put both a start time and an ending time on invitations. Make sure to put the RSVP date atleast one week before the party.

3. Make sure you have enough money for all the supplies.

4. Decorate to a full-scale haunted house.

5. Put out all the food and know when to order.
**********************************************************************
Decoration Ideas:

Decorate with anything from creepy paper streamers and balloons to a full-fledged house of horrors. Get small plates, forks and napkins in Halloween colors. Decorating for your Halloween party will be one of the most fun parts of your party planning. Adorn your party room with fake cobwebs, carved pumpkins and plastic skeletons. Decorate your front yard with styrofoam cutouts to make a graveyard. Hang orange and black creepy paper throughout the house and dim the lights -- have your party by candlelight instead (but keep candles out of reach of children). Your Halloween party decorations can take on any part of this special holiday that you'd like--from spooky to festive fall leaves.

Food Tips:

Snack foods go well with Halloween parties. People aren't expecting a sit-down meal, but you should have more available than chips and dips. Provide finger foods such as cheese and crackers, popcorn, pretzels, cocktail wieners or meatballs, veggies and dip, deviled eggs, finger sandwiches. Buffalo wings are always a hit and, if you want to be dull and boring, you can always order pizza. But why not make some scary looking Halloween specialties that have the look that screams Halloween? Make sure you have ALOT and enough drinks for everybody attending.

Music Tips:

Get your guest in the Halloween spirit by playing spooky music. Buy a CD of Halloween tunes or haunted house sounds (creaking doors, screams and scary cackles). If you'd like just make the music is current and fun. ;)

Game Tips

No spooky party is complete without a few Halloween party games. You can do awards for costumes, have a dance off, play truth or dare, do racing relays, flashlight tag, hide and seek around the block (have everyone wear glow sticks.) ding dong ditch people, use the creepy oujia board, do tarot cards, play ghost in the graveyard, spin the bottle, bob apples, ten fingers, scavenger hunt and maybe have a bonfire. Just ask your friends what they would like to do. :)

Have fun & A happy halloween! ( iknow its early.. )

Halloween Costume Ideas Please?

Hello, me and my friend need a "duo" costume idea.
I already got 2 ideas
ex. Woody and Jessie ()
and Tinker Bell

me an my friend are both girls so girl costumes will help.
We don't want to go out and buy many costume supply. So an easy costume would be nice.
Something that doesn't stand out so much but is a good idea. Thanks :)

andre1 answers:

One of you could be a criminal and the other could be a cop (or a convict and a jail guard)
Or you could be Batman and Robin
Or Mario and Luigi (Mario and Princess Peach could work, as would Princess Peach and Princess Daisy)
You could be Alice and the Mad Hatter
Or ketchup and mustard
Peanut butter and jelly
A cat and a mouse

The ideas are endless! Good luck!

Well im thinking that the girls can wear white gowns or dresses like this:

You obviously have lyrical dance shoes but this dress is gorgeous and it matches the song really well.

I hope this helps!
