Mr Potato Head halloween costume..?

ok guys!
so i decided my halloween costume this year was going to be either Mr Potato Head or Buzz Lightyear (both from toy story if u dnt kno wot i mean). I then decided Buzz would be really hard to make and i think i would get a better result with Mr Potato.
but my question is..how do i make his eyes, nose, ears, moustache, mouth etc..
ive already thought of a way to make his actual body ( the potato shaped bit) i just need help with the eyes n stuff
any suggestions?
i was gona do paper mache (ma-shay ?) eyes but then i dont know wot to do for the moustache n stuff seen as thats such an awkward shape..
and the shoes aswell, seen as he has no legs and just massive shoes what can i do for tht?

i am going to disneyland next week if tht makes any difference, but they have like a plastic version n stuff so dnt say buy it off them or anythin coz they prob dnt sell em anyway.

I think your safest best would be to go to a fabric store with a print out of Mr. Potato Head so you can choose your colours appropriately. Get a lot of brown/beige fabric for the body and then either make the body parts with felt or small samples of fabric from the fabric store. Wear a black hat. Wear blue shoes (if you don't have them, try some cheap ones from Zellers, Wal-Mart, etc.) and wear white arms-lengthed gloves.
